Sarah L. Webb blogs at ColorismHealing.org and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in English at Louisiana State University. She is a writer, educator, advocate, and mentor whose work focuses on literacy, digital media, and issues affecting young women of color. Sarah has previously taught high school and college English courses; mentored youth poets, performers, and writers; managed online content for local news and TV stations; and provided freelance writing and blogging services for businesses and magazines.
